The changing of the seasons has begun as we kick off our yearly Lola Valentina event trend and color analysis for Fall/Winter 2025. Summer 2025 has been nothing less than extraordinary for the event world and just like every year new trends come, go or stay for good.
With Jet 2 Holiday becoming the song of the year and nostalgia at an all time high, the youngest Millennials and Gen Z begin to enter a new era, shifting the world as the hums of television are replaced with streaming, VHS clicks fade into memory, and static noise becomes a glitch frozen in time.
So what’s momentary and what will make a lasting impression? What colors can we mix and match? How can patterns be used? This year we saw trends like fruits as centerpieces, bold stripes and clashing patterns.
This summer 2025 brought fresh ideas that will carry through the rest of the year. In this blog we’ll highlight the key trends: fruits as centerpieces, bold stripes and architectural draping.
Unique, Organic Shapes, and Striking Centerpieces
As time changes we don’t leave everything behind; we embrace and reinvent. In our fall forecast for 2025, fruits are here to stay, replacing peaches, tomatoes and watermelons with figs, artichokes and pomegranates. Florals take on a more dramatic tone, with deeper colors and intentional shape and structure. Light shades blend with darker ones to create balance and movement across the table.

Centerpiece Upgrade
In events every detail matters. Each element adds to the experience and leaves guests talking long after. We’re seeing florals move off the table and in between them, creating natural pathways and layered depth. This setup lets guests feel surrounded by design, not separated from it.

Performance:
Triple
Threat
Music is a big part of an event, setting the mood for every stage, from cocktail hour to dinner, to catching a rhythm on the dance floor and staying there until the final minute. Music tells a story and brings emotion to the entire experience.
This year, performances are becoming multi-sensory. Live bands, vocalists, and DJs work together with lighting, projection, and movement to create immersive energy. Performers are breaking the boundary between stage and guest space, moving through the crowd or designing their setup to make guests feel part of the show.

Ceiling Draping That Transforms Events
Unique shapes, colors and patterns aren’t limited to the table; they rise above it to transform a space completely. Custom prints are playing a bigger role, from bold patterns that define the mood of the entire room to soft tonal designs that layer color and structure. Drapes are an immersive experience, adding shape, depth and color to an event. They are almost centerpieces in their own right. Conscious maximalism continues to lead, with every layer and fold designed with intention.

Nostalgia
A trend that will be everlasting. As time passes the word “home” has a different connotation. In our formative years we go from being part of a unit to creating a home. More often than not we change or seek what we knew, a feeling that sits on the tip of our tongue, so close yet faded like a buzz or static visual noise.
Our new collection is all the talk. Glitch brings back times that will never return but still live in memory. This summer our Glitch collection brought the old and remixed it with the new, vividly pulling a small part of the 90s back into our lives with bold colors and blurred lines. With patterns like Frequency, Static, Pixel and Retrograde, fall 2025 will be filled with an immersive experience.

COLOR FORECAST
2025 | 2026
Fall | Winter
As our blog and summer come to a close we go back to what made us unique: colors and patterns. Lola Valentina came around after seeing a slowdown in the event industry. We felt colors had become dull and patterns repetitive. Our intention is to design with purpose to create change and eventually become trendsetters.
We reflect on the season and what’s ahead in the forecast, color continues to shape how we design and how we see events evolve. The tones for fall and winter feel intentional, layered, and grounded. They pull from natural elements clay, dirt, trees, mushrooms, and the night sky. Together they create balance and structure while keeping design authentic to the moment.
Color moves emotion. It sets the tone of a room before a single guest arrives. Cool tones calm, deeper hues create focus, and neutrals bring cohesion. Every shade carries a role in building atmosphere and flow.
